For the full year of 2005, pro forma net revenue totaled NT$36.508bln, 13.2% increase over FY 2004 in NT$ term, or 17.4% in US$ term. Gross margin fell to 31.5% as compared to 33.5% of FY 2004. Operating margin was whittled down to 7.4%, as compared to 8.2% of FY 2004. Net margin dropped to 4.5%, as compared to 8.1% of the previous year, due primarily to high special tax charges in FY 2005 and the absence of one-time huge disposal gain benefited from Alpha's IPO plan in FY 2004.
