ZHANG Cheng, is a senior engineer and currently is an independent non-executive director of the Company and an external director of Dongfang Electric Corporation. Mr. ZHANG Cheng served as the General Manager and the Secretary to the Communist Party Committee of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. from January 2006 to March 2010, a member of the Communist Party Committee Leadership Group and a Deputy General Manager of China Three Gorges Corporation with concurrent position as the General Manager and a director of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. From March 2010 to April 2015, and concurrently a director of China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. from May 2013 to December 2018, as well as a member of the Communist Party Committee Leadership Group and a Deputy General Manager of China Three Gorges Corporation with concurrent position as Vice Chairman of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. from May 2015 to December 2017. He has been an external director of Dongfang Electric Corporation since June 2020. He has been an independent non-executive director of the Company since March 2021. |
