Share buyback program status report: 2% has repurchased

CipherLab, under the new share buyback program as announced on September 1, hereby announces that it has repurchased 1,422,000 shares or represent 2% of the number of issued shares from September 2 till October 13 2008. The shares were repurchased at an average price of NT$ 50.91 and for a total amount of NT$ 72,397,867.
