Leading Reseller Magazine Names CipherLab a Top Five Vendor

In Vertical Systems Reseller magazine’s Top 50 POS Hardware Leaderboard survey, CipherLab was ranked fifth in the barcode scanners category by value added resellers (VARs), systems integrators and solution providers who had sold or implemented scanner solutions in the last 24 months. The following criteria determined the vendor rankings: product features and functionality, innovation, reliability, vendor support and service offerings, and competitive pricing. “CipherLab continues to increase its reach in the North American data capture market, and being recognized as one of the leading vendors is a good indication of our company’s progress,” said Robert Hossary, vice president-Americas for CipherLab. “With the introduction of several new products in 2006, such as our handheld wireless devices, we look forward to making additional category inroads in next year’s survey.” Conducted by Litchfield Research, the Top 50 POS Hardware Leaderboard survey is the first of its kind in the reseller industry, showcasing vendors in six categories.
