CipherLab (TWN: 6160) today reported consolidated sales of $378.07 million for the second quarter of 2008. The net income for the same period was $104.47 million, or $ 1.47 per share. Compared to first quarter of 2008, the second quarter sales increased 14% while Income from Operations and Net Income increased 8 % and 94%, respectively. The realized gross margin, operating margin and Net margin for the second quarter were 58%, 30% and 28%, respectively. The product mix for second quarter was: 64%, 26% and 10% to mobile computers, hand-held scanners and accessories, respectively. Global Sales Distribution was 17% Asia Pacific, 17% Americas, 44% EMEA, 7% China and 15% Large Direct Accounts.
